SB626 and ARs

Recent changes in state law provides exceptions to the Assault Weapon laws for Law Enforcement officers.  This applies not only to rifles for work usage, but also for your own personal usage (standard registration is required).  Evan's Gunsmithing has already acquired some very nice AR's for purchase under these new rules.  You will need to provide a department letter, authorizing your purchase.  This link advises on SB626 which is effective Jan 1, 2002.

Contact us TODAY for more information on acquiring your own Assault Weapon for personal usage.

SB23

In 1999, SB23 banned the sale of "Assault Rifles" based on a variety of characteristics.  In 2001, SB626 was written to  provide relief to Law Enforcement Officers as upstanding citizens of the community.
